Flag: Western Sahara Emoji

The flag of the unrecognized country of Western Sahara in north Africa. The flag consists of stripes; black, white and green and a red triangle on top part of the flag with a white crescent and star that stands for Sahrawi people’s desire for freedom. The SADR adopted it in 1976 and features Pan-Arab colors and symbolizes the region’s never-ending fight for independence. This emoji is widely applied in the conversation about Western Sahara, Sahrawi people, their struggle for independence, or political position on the subject.
