The national flag of Vatican City is represented by the Vatican City Flag Emoji 🇻🇦.
The flag consists of two vertical bands: With a gold or yellow one to the left, and a white one to the right. In the white band at the top, a Vatican coat of arms is shown, consisting of two crossed keys with one silver and one gold (left picture) as well as the Papal Tiara.
After the Lateran Treaty set up Vatican City as an independent state on June 7, 1929, the flag was adopted. It represents papal authority and spiritual and administrative headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church.
