Flag: Uganda Emoji

The Uganda Flag Emoji 🇺🇬 blazon a flag used in Uganda, an East African country. The flag features six horizontal bands of black, yellow and red respectively, in the middle is a white circle containing a grey crowned crane. Black depicts Ugandans while yellow represents the riches of Uganda and red illustrates hassles of struggle to gain independence. Uganda symbolized with the grey crowned crane symbol layers for beauty and natural resource endowment. The flag was designed by Grace Ibingira, a Ugandan designer, and was officially adopted on October 9, 1962, when Uganda gained independence from the United Kingdom. This emoji is used to represent Uganda’s culture, history, and national pride.
