Flag: Trinidad & Tobago Emoji

Like many other countries in the world Trinidad & Tobago 🇹🇹 has its own flag represented by the Trinidad and Tobago Flag Emoji 🇹🇹. 

It occupies a red background and has a black wide stripe diagonally crossing from the upper left corner to the lower right one; the border is white. The color red stands for the energy of the people, black for the unity and determination of the people of that country, and white as the resource and the sea. 

This flag by Carlisle Chang a Trinidadian artist became official on the 31st of August 1962, the year of independence in Trinidad and Tobago. This emoji signifies the country’s culture, tradition and identity.
