The Republic of China (Taiwan) Flag Emoji 🇹🇼 stands for the Taipei flag.
The flag is comprised of a red field, the left upper corner of which contains a blue square, and in the center of which appears a white sun with 12 rays. The red stands for the people's enthusiasm, blue for free liberty, and the white sun with 12 rays for 12 hours of the day, symbol of the spirit of doing good.
October 28, 1928 was the day the flag was adopted by the Union. It is a logo of Taiwan’s national identity, a culture and history used in the circles of politics and the cultural heritage of the Republic of China.
