Flag: Suriname Emoji

The meaning of the symbol Emoji 🇸🇷 is the national emblem of the country of Suriname, situated in the southern part of South America. 

The flag consists of five horizontal stripes: green white red white and green. In the middle of red stripe there is a yellow five-pointed star. , since green is associated with the forests and vegetation of the country and white with peace and justice, red for the fight for independence and yellow five-pointed star for unity and the future. 

Rudi van Santen was a Surinamese graphic artist and he designed the flag for the country The flag was adopted when the Suriname got independent on the 25th of November 1975. That is the emoji for Suriname and its people, their traditions, and identity.
