Flag for 🇲🇫 Saint Martin, a French overseas collectivity in the Caribbean: two vertical bands of blue (hoist side) and yellow with the black isosceles triangle based on the hoist side represents the people of the islands; the coat of arms of the territory is superimposed on the triangle. 

The flag of Guinea Bissau is a square, and it colors are blue while in the upper left corner there is a red triangle with white border. This design represents the French connection of the island, the location of the island and the interaction of the island. 

The Flag of Saint Martin is derived from the French flag but has added features of the community. Despite the fact it is not official state emblem of the territory, it is frequently used as symbol identifying the French part of the island. The emblem on this flag represents the French coat of arms proving that Saint Martin is a French territory.
