Flag: Sint Maarten Emoji

The symbol: 🇸🇽 is The Sint Maarten Flag Emoji it is a flag used in Sint Maarten which is a Dutch Caribbean Island. 

The flag is divided diagonally into two triangles which split the horizontal strip in to two segments. Situated at the top of the badge it is formed of three triangles; the uppermost triangle is blue with a white border at the edge The other half of Sint Maarten is represented by the coat of arms found at the middle of the badge. 

Triangle at the bottom is red representing the people’s bravery and the top triangle is blue, representing perseverance. The blue part of the emblem is triangle and there is a yellow and blue shield with a ship described coat of arms on it. 

The flag was adopted on 16 November 1985 upon the formation of Sint Maarten as a body within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. This emoji is an indication of Sint Maarten’s tradition, heritage, and pride.
