Flag: São Tomé & Príncipe Emoji

🇸🇹 is the flag of São Tomé and Príncipe, a small island country in the Gulf of Guinea, off the western equatorial coast of Central Africa. 

The flag consists of three horizontal stripes: Starting with green at the top, yellow in the middle, all the way to red at the bottom. The green color connotes the country's lush vegetation the yellow symbolizes the islands' wealth with and the sun and the red symbolizes the struggles for independence. 

There are two black stars (right hoist side) representing São Tomé and Príncipe, the two islands of the country. 

The flag was adopted in 1975 and symbolically is the country’s identity, independence and natural resources. This emoji is for discussing culture, geography, and history of São Tomé and Príncipe.
