Flag: San Marino Emoji

The San Marino Flag Emoji 🇸🇲 represents the national flag of San Marino, which consists of two horizontal stripes: It was white on the top and blue on the bottom. In the center, there is the comic coat of arms of San Marino: a shield with three towers, and over it is a banner which reads Libertas, thereby remembering that San Marino is independent and free. 

Its design has been in use since 1797, but it was officially adopted on April 6, 1862. White and blue represent peace and the sky and the coat of arms is symbol of San Marino's long history of self-government. It’s this emoji which is associated with the country’s identity, heritage and pride.
