Flag: Qatar Emoji

Qatar Flag Emoji 🇶🇦 is the national flag of Qatar meaning a maroon field with a vertical put white stripe on the hoist side. 

The white stripe represents peace and the bloodshed in Qatar’s history of wars. Qatar is referenced as the ninth of the "reconciled emirates" behind the nine serrated points along the dividing line after a treaty with Britain in 1916. 

In 1971, the flag was officially adopted on the day of Qatar’s independence. This emoji is used to signify Qatar’s rich culture, tradition and national pride at such events as sports or cultural celebrations.
