Flag: Portugal Emoji

The Portugal Flag Emoji 🇵🇹 represents the national flag of Portugal, featuring two vertical stripes: One was green on the left and red on the right. 

Portuguese coat of arms, which features a navigational sphere, a shield of seven castles on a Portugal blue shield (five castles on three white shields), is in the middle, across the dividing line. 

The Portuguese flag was officially adopted as June 30 1911 after the establishment of the Portuguese Republic. The red stands for the revolution and the green for hope. This emoji is often used in order to show pride in Portuguese, culture and in the history and worldwide influence of the country.
