Flag: Pitcairn Islands Emoji

The flag: 🇵🇳 emoji displays the flag, as a .png image, for the Pitcairn Islands. 

In the top left-hand corner is the Union Jack signifying the islands British sovereignty and four green stars in a cross pattern on a white background. These stars represent the four inhabited islands of the territory: Henderson, Ducie and Oeno and Pitcairn. 

The flag was adopted in 1984, and evokes the Pitcairn Islands' natural environment as well as its British colonial history. This emoji is short for the islands': history, geography, and political status.
