Flag: Norfolk Island Emoji

The Norfolk Island flag 🇳🇫 is the official emoji for the country. The flag shows the Union Jack at the top left corner to represent Norfolk Island's colonial British heritage and a Norfolk Island pine tree in green in the center, a native tree of the island and a symbol of the natural environment. 

It was adopted officially in 1980. Both the island's connection to Australia and its unique cultural and natural identity is reflected in the design. 

This emoji is used to talk about or reach consensus on Norfolk Island’s culture, geography, history and political status as an Australian territory.
