It is the emoji of Mauritius Flag 🇲🇺 which is the national flag of Mauritius which is an island country situated in the Indian Ocean. It bears four stripes of red, blue, yellow and green horizontally. Red stands for the freedom fighters and nation’s struggle for freedom blue for the large Indian Ocean surrounding the island yellow for the brights future of the island green for vegetation and the islands agricultural products.

The flag has been used since March 12th, 1968 which is the same day Mauritius gained its independence from the United Kingdom.
