Flag: Madagascar Emoji

The shiny blue rectangle is for the Indian Ocean which surrounds Madagascar and the five stars symbolize that Madagascar 🇲🇬 is a five-star democracy. Their flag is a combination of two vertical strips of red and green with a white, vertical bar along its left side. The red stands for people’s power and fight for freedom and independence and green symbolize the country’s rich and productive lands and farming. This white stripe meant the purity and the desire for the better future for the countries, devoid of wars or social division.

It has been used since October 14, 1958 when Madagascar 🇲🇬 become an independent state from France. This emoji is used to talk about Madagascar’s customs, past and present and people’s identity.
