Flag: Laos Emoji

Laos Flag Emoji 🇱🇦 is the flag of Laos, a land locked country in Southeast Asia. The flag features three horizontal stripes: White with blue stripe on top and bottom, red middle, and blue circle in the center of the red stripe. 

The bloodshed for independence is symbolized in the red stripes, the Mekong River and prosperity in the blue and unity and the moon above the river in the white circle. 

The flag, designed by Lao nationalist and scholar Maha Sila Viravong, was officially adopted by the Lao People’s Democratic Republic when Laos became a country on December 2, 1975. This emoji is used to symbolize Lao’s culture, history and industrial pride.
