Flag: Jamaica Emoji

The Jamaica Flag 🇯🇲 Emoji, is an Emoji for the Jamaica’s national flag, an independent island country located in the Caribbean region. 

The flag consists of three diagonal stripes: a yellow diagonal stripe across the upper left to the lower right of the field, two green and black triangles. 
The gold reflects the mineral and petroleum resources and the wealth of the nation, green for the land and hope and agriculture, and the black for the strength and invention of the people and drawbacks overcome. 

This fabulous flag of Jamaica was designed by the Jamaica flag committee with Mrs. G.B.P. Murphy whom headed the designing committee and the new dawn of the Jamaican flag was adopted on August 6, 1962 when Jamaica was granted independence by the UNITED KINGDOM. This emoji can be used for expressing one’s Jamaican culture or supporting Jamaican history and pride.
