The Ireland Flag Emoji 🇮🇪 represents the national flag of Ireland, which consists of three vertical stripes: Left side green, center white, and right-side orange.
The green stands for Irish Catholics and nationalists, the orange for Irish Protestants and those that supported William of Orange, and the white symbolizes Irish people who remain and maintain the peace.
It was officially adopted on December 3, 1937. Its design was created by Thomas Francis Meagher,an Irish nationalist and political figure, in honor of the French Tricolor. This Emoji is often used for showing Ireland’s identity, heritage and the pride.
