Flag: Guadeloupe Emoji

The Guadeloupe Flag 🇬🇵 Emoji has the meaning of flag of Guadeloupe, an over-sea department of France and situated in Caribbean area. 

The flag consists of four parts, in each of which there is a blue background and a yellow heraldic lily. Cockade is the symbol of French history and the blue corresponds to the Caribbean Sea. Also, the green part of the flag symbolizes the soil of the island and the ability of agriculture in this country. This flag is a cultural flag of some inhabitants of Guadeloupe and belongs to the group of regional flags. But it is not recognized as the official flag of the territory by the French authorities. It relates to its subjects as the region fought for autonomy and the people’s wish to have the region recognized within the framework of the French republic.
