Flag: Fiji Emoji

The flag of Fiji 🇫🇯 is the emoji symbol for Fiji, a country in the South Pacific Ocean that is island, cultural, and historic. 

It has the Union Jack in the top left corner to represent Fiji’s British colonial heritage and a shield which includes symbols of Fiji's natural resources including coconut palm and sugarcane and traditions. 

The flag was adopted in 1970 under which Fiji was declared an independent country from United Kingdom. The design captures the essence both of Fiji’s British roots and Fiji’s unique Pacific identity.
