Flag: Botswana Emoji

The Botswana Flag Emoji 🇧🇼 is a symbol of the Botswana nation’s flag and primarily used to symbolize the nation, its culture or people on social media platforms. The emoji is set with light blue background and a horizontal black line in the middle of the box, surrounded by thin white line. The blue stands for water, especially the much-needed precipitation of which the semi-arid country is in dire need of. The nine horizontal stripes symbolize the equal and unfair treatment of Black and White people.

The flag was officially adopted on September 30 1966, the day that Botswana became an independent country. Botswana Emoji on one of the flags indicates the country’s orientation on the principles of peace, multiculturalism, and wealth.
