Flag: Barbados Emoji

The Barbados Flag Emoji 🇧🇧 is associated with the flag of Barbados a sovereign island country located in the Caribbean area. 

This flag consists of three strips of ultramarine blue, golden yellow, and ultramarine blue with a black trident head located on the middle of the golden yellow-strip. Blue depicts ocean and sky while yellow refers to sand and black trident shows independence of Barbados from colonial masters. 

The designer of the Flag was Grantley W. Prescod a Barbadian teacher and an artist, the flag was adopted on the 30th of November in 1966 which is the year that Barbados got its independence. This emoji symbolizes Barbados traditions, historical background and people’s self-identity.
