Flag: Austria Emoji

The Austria Flag Emoji 🇦🇹  represents the national flag of Austria, featuring three horizontal stripes: A white stripe in the middle, red on the top and bottom. 

The legend says that the red and white design is from Leopold V's tunic stained with blood all over except for a white band where his belt was. It is one of the oldest flags in the world, dating from 1230, and is officially adopted in modern form, on the May 1, 1945. 

These days this emoji is used for Austria’s national pride, history, and culture, and in some cases travel, sport, or cultural events.
